Términos de Servicio — Zaldo
Estos Términos de Servicio ("Términos") rigen tu acceso y uso de Zaldo (el "Servicio"), operado por Jaguar Hosting LLC ("Jaguar Hosting", "nosotros" o "nuestro"). Al crear una cuenta o usar el Servicio, aceptás quedar sujeto a estos Términos. Si no estás de acuerdo, no uses el Servicio.
1. El Servicio
Zaldo es una herramienta de control de gastos personales que te ayuda a organizar y entender en qué gastás tu dinero. Zaldo puede leer los correos de notificación que tu banco te envía (a través de un complemento opcional de Google Workspace que instalás y autorizás) y convertirlos en registros de transacciones organizados, y también te permite agregar y administrar transacciones, categorías, reglas, límites de gasto y reportes de forma manual.
Zaldo es una herramienta informativa y organizativa. No es un banco, institución financiera, asesor financiero, contador ni asesor fiscal, y no brinda asesoría financiera, de inversión, legal ni fiscal.
2. Elegibilidad y cuentas
- Debés tener al menos 18 años para usar Zaldo.
- Sos responsable de la información que proporcionás y de mantener la seguridad de tu cuenta, incluyendo la cuenta de correo usada para acceder a Zaldo.
- Sos responsable de toda actividad que ocurra bajo tu cuenta.
- Aceptás proporcionar información precisa y mantenerla actualizada.
3. El complemento de Gmail y los datos de Google
Si elegís instalar el complemento de Zaldo para Gmail, autorizás a Zaldo a acceder al correo de notificación bancaria específico que abrís, para detectar y extraer los detalles de la transacción. Nuestro acceso y uso de los datos de usuario de Google se describe en nuestra Política de Privacidad y cumple con la Política de Datos de Usuario de los Servicios de API de Google, incluyendo los requisitos de Uso Limitado.
Podés revocar el acceso de Zaldo a tu Gmail en cualquier momento desde la configuración de tu cuenta de Google. Instalar y usar el complemento es opcional; podés usar las funciones manuales de Zaldo sin él.
4. Planes, suscripciones y facturación
4.1 Planes
Zaldo ofrece un plan gratuito y un plan pago "Pro". Pro puede ofrecerse como una suscripción recurrente (mensual o anual) y, como oferta limitada de acceso anticipado disponible para un número limitado de usuarios, como una compra única "Lifetime" que otorga acceso Pro sin facturación recurrente. Una vez que la oferta Lifetime deje de estar disponible, Pro se ofrecerá únicamente por suscripción. Las funciones, precios y límites de cada plan se describen dentro del Servicio y pueden cambiar con el tiempo. Haremos esfuerzos razonables para comunicar cambios importantes.
4.2 Prueba gratuita
El plan Pro puede ofrecerse con un período de prueba gratuita (por ejemplo, 14 días). Si no cancelás antes de que termine la prueba, se te cobrará el plan que seleccionaste al precio mostrado al momento de pagar. Podés cancelar en cualquier momento antes de que termine la prueba para evitar el cobro.
4.3 Facturación
Las suscripciones pagas se facturan por adelantado de forma recurrente (mensual o anual, según el plan que elijas) a través de nuestro procesador de pagos, Stripe. Al suscribirte, nos autorizás (mediante Stripe) a cobrar tu método de pago de forma recurrente hasta que canceles.
4.4 Cambios de precio
Podemos cambiar los precios de las suscripciones. Si lo hacemos, te daremos un aviso previo razonable, y cualquier cambio de precio aplicará a los períodos de facturación posteriores al aviso.
4.5 Cancelación
Podés cancelar tu suscripción recurrente en cualquier momento a través del Servicio o del portal de clientes de Stripe. La cancelación entra en vigor al final de tu período de facturación actual. Después de la cancelación, tu cuenta vuelve al plan gratuito y conservás tus datos, sujeto a los límites del plan gratuito. Las compras Lifetime son únicas y no tienen suscripción que cancelar (ver Sección 4.7). Consultá nuestra Política de Reembolsos y Cancelación para más detalles.
4.6 Impuestos
Sos responsable de cualquier impuesto aplicable asociado con tu compra, excepto los impuestos basados en nuestra utilidad neta.
4.7 Compra Lifetime
El plan "Lifetime" es un pago único que otorga acceso Pro durante la vida operativa del Servicio, sin cobros recurrentes. Debido a que es una compra única y no una suscripción, no tiene ciclo de facturación que cancelar y no se administra a través del portal de clientes de Stripe. Las compras Lifetime son finales y no reembolsables, salvo que la ley aplicable exija lo contrario. "Lifetime" se refiere a la vida operativa del Servicio de Zaldo; si discontinuamos el Servicio, consultá la Sección 7 y nuestra Política de Reembolsos y Cancelación. El acceso Lifetime está vinculado a tu cuenta y no puede transferirse ni revenderse.
5. Uso aceptable
Aceptás no:
- Usar el Servicio para cualquier propósito ilegal, fraudulento o abusivo.
- Intentar obtener acceso no autorizado al Servicio, a otras cuentas o a nuestros sistemas.
- Interferir con o interrumpir la integridad o el funcionamiento del Servicio.
- Realizar ingeniería inversa, copiar o crear obras derivadas del Servicio, salvo lo permitido por ley.
- Usar el Servicio para violar los derechos de terceros o cualquier ley o regulación aplicable.
- Usar medios automatizados para acceder al Servicio de una forma que genere una carga irrazonable sobre nuestra infraestructura.
Podemos suspender o terminar tu acceso si violás estos Términos o usás el Servicio de una manera que pueda causarnos daño a nosotros, a otros usuarios o a terceros.
6. Tus datos y contenido
Conservás la propiedad de los datos y el contenido que enviás a Zaldo. Nos otorgás una licencia limitada para almacenar, procesar y mostrar esos datos únicamente para brindarte y mejorar el Servicio, según se describe en nuestra Política de Privacidad.
Sos responsable de la exactitud de los datos en tu cuenta. Debido a que la detección de transacciones a partir de correos es automatizada, ocasionalmente puede ser incompleta o inexacta; sos responsable de revisar y corregir tus registros.
7. Disponibilidad y cambios del Servicio
Nos esforzamos por mantener a Zaldo disponible y confiable, pero no garantizamos que el Servicio sea ininterrumpido, libre de errores o seguro. Podemos modificar, suspender o discontinuar total o parcialmente el Servicio en cualquier momento, y podemos imponer límites a ciertas funciones. Cuando sea razonable, avisaremos sobre cambios significativos.
8. Servicios de terceros
Zaldo depende de servicios de terceros, incluyendo Google, Stripe, Supabase, Meta y otros. Tu uso de esos servicios a través de Zaldo puede estar sujeto a sus propios términos y políticas de privacidad. No somos responsables de las prácticas de los servicios de terceros. 9. Renuncias de garantía
EL SERVICIO SE PROPORCIONA "TAL CUAL" Y "SEGÚN DISPONIBILIDAD", SIN GARANTÍAS DE NINGÚN TIPO, YA SEAN EXPRESAS O IMPLÍCITAS, INCLUYENDO, ENTRE OTRAS, LAS GARANTÍAS IMPLÍCITAS DE COMERCIABILIDAD, IDONEIDAD PARA UN PROPÓSITO PARTICULAR Y NO INFRACCIÓN.
ZALDO NO BRINDA ASESORÍA FINANCIERA, DE INVERSIÓN, CONTABLE, LEGAL NI FISCAL. CUALQUIER DECISIÓN QUE TOMÉS BASÁNDOTE EN INFORMACIÓN DE ZALDO ES DE TU ÚNICA RESPONSABILIDAD. NO GARANTIZAMOS LA EXACTITUD NI LA INTEGRIDAD DE LOS DATOS DE TRANSACCIONES DETECTADOS AUTOMÁTICAMENTE.
10. Limitación de responsabilidad
EN LA MEDIDA MÁXIMA PERMITIDA POR LA LEY, JAGUAR HOSTING LLC Y SUS PROPIETARIOS, EMPLEADOS Y PROVEEDORES NO SERÁN RESPONSABLES POR NINGÚN DAÑO INDIRECTO, INCIDENTAL, ESPECIAL, CONSECUENTE O PUNITIVO, NI POR NINGUNA PÉRDIDA DE GANANCIAS, DATOS O REPUTACIÓN, QUE SURJA DE O ESTÉ RELACIONADO CON TU USO (O IMPOSIBILIDAD DE USO) DEL SERVICIO.
EN LA MEDIDA MÁXIMA PERMITIDA POR LA LEY, NUESTRA RESPONSABILIDAD TOTAL POR CUALQUIER RECLAMO QUE SURJA DE O ESTÉ RELACIONADO CON EL SERVICIO NO EXCEDERÁ EL MONTO MAYOR ENTRE (A) LO QUE NOS PAGASTE POR EL SERVICIO EN LOS DOCE MESES ANTERIORES AL RECLAMO, O (B) USD 50.
11. Indemnización
Aceptás indemnizar y eximir de responsabilidad a Jaguar Hosting LLC y a sus propietarios, empleados y proveedores frente a cualquier reclamo, daño, responsabilidad y gasto (incluyendo honorarios legales razonables) que surja de tu uso del Servicio, tu incumplimiento de estos Términos, o tu violación de los derechos de terceros.
12. Terminación
Podés dejar de usar el Servicio y eliminar tu cuenta en cualquier momento. Podemos suspender o terminar tu acceso al Servicio si violás estos Términos o si es necesario para proteger el Servicio u a otros usuarios. Tras la terminación, las disposiciones de estos Términos que por su naturaleza deban subsistir (incluyendo las Secciones 9, 10, 11 y 13) subsistirán.
13. Ley aplicable
Estos Términos se rigen por las leyes del Estado de Wyoming, Estados Unidos, sin considerar sus principios de conflicto de leyes, salvo cuando las leyes de protección al consumidor aplicables exijan lo contrario. Cualquier disputa estará sujeta a la jurisdicción exclusiva de los tribunales ubicados en Wyoming, a menos que la ley aplicable exija lo contrario.
14. Cambios a estos Términos
Podemos actualizar estos Términos de vez en cuando. Cuando hagamos cambios importantes, actualizaremos la fecha de "Última actualización" y, cuando corresponda, te notificaremos a través del Servicio o por correo. Tu uso continuado de Zaldo después de que los cambios entren en vigor constituye la aceptación de los Términos actualizados.

Terms of Service — Zaldo
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Zaldo (the "Service"), operated by Jaguar Hosting LLC ("Jaguar Hosting," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Zaldo is a personal expense-tracking tool that helps you organize and understand your spending. Zaldo can read the transaction notification emails your bank sends you (through an optional Google Workspace add-on you install and authorize) and turn them into organized transaction records, and it also lets you add and manage transactions, categories, rules, spending limits, and reports manually.
Zaldo is an informational and organizational tool. It is not a bank, financial institution, financial advisor, accountant, or tax advisor, and it does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Zaldo.
- You are responsible for the information you provide and for maintaining the security of your account, including the email account used to access Zaldo.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
3. The Gmail add-on and Google data
If you choose to install the Zaldo Gmail add-on, you authorize Zaldo to access the specific bank notification email you open in order to detect and extract transaction details. Our access to and use of Google user data is described in our Privacy Policy and adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You may revoke Zaldo's access to your Gmail at any time through your Google Account settings. Installing and using the add-on is optional; you can use Zaldo's manual features without it.
4. Plans, subscriptions, and billing
4.1 Plans
Zaldo offers a free plan and a paid "Pro" plan. Pro may be offered as a recurring subscription (monthly or annually) and, as a limited early-access offer available to a limited number of users, as a one-time "Lifetime" purchase that grants Pro access without recurring billing. Once the Lifetime offer is no longer available, Pro is offered on a subscription basis only. The features, pricing, and limits of each plan are described within the Service and may change over time. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes.
4.2 Free trial
The Pro plan may be offered with a free trial period (for example, 14 days). If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the plan you selected at the price shown at checkout. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
4.3 Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose) through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
4.4 Price changes
We may change subscription prices. If we do, we will give you reasonable advance notice, and any price change will apply to billing periods after the notice.
4.5 Cancellation
You may cancel your recurring subscription at any time through the Service or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, your account reverts to the free plan and you retain your data, subject to the limits of the free plan. Lifetime purchases are one-time and have no subscription to cancel (see Section 4.7). See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
4.6 Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable taxes associated with your purchase, except for taxes based on our net income.
4.7 Lifetime purchase
The "Lifetime" plan is a one-time payment that grants Pro access for the lifetime of the Service, with no recurring charges. Because it is a one-time purchase rather than a subscription, it has no billing cycle to cancel and is not managed through the Stripe customer portal. Lifetime purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. "Lifetime" refers to the operational lifetime of the Zaldo Service; if we discontinue the Service, please refer to Section 7 and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Lifetime access is tied to your account and may not be transferred or resold.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law.
- Use the Service to violate the rights of others or any applicable law or regulation.
- Use automated means to access the Service in a manner that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that may cause harm to us, other users, or third parties.
6. Your data and content
You retain ownership of the data and content you submit to Zaldo. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that data solely to provide and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data in your account. Because transaction detection from emails is automated, it may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing and correcting your records.
7. Service availability and changes
We strive to keep Zaldo available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, and we may impose limits on certain features. Where reasonable, we will provide notice of significant changes.
8. Third-party services
Zaldo relies on third-party services, including Google, Stripe, Supabase, Meta, and others. Your use of those services through Zaldo may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services. For details on how we share data with these providers, see our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
ZALDO DOES NOT PROVIDE FINANCIAL, INVESTMENT, ACCOUNTING, LEGAL, OR TAX ADVICE. ANY DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON INFORMATION IN ZALDO ARE YOUR SOLE RESPONSIBILITY. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF AUTOMATICALLY DETECTED TRANSACTION DATA.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JAGUAR HOSTING LLC AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 50.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jaguar Hosting LLC and its owners, employees, and suppliers from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including Sections 9, 10, 11, and 13) will survive.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Wyoming, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service or by email. Your continued use of Zaldo after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
